This assignment, at the very beginning of the bachelor programme, familiarises students with basic digital modeling skills, both in 2D and 3D. The 2D part explores plan drawing conventions and has a strong emphasis on graphical qualities. Subsequently, a corresponding 3D model is created which is accurately textured, lit and animated.
This exercises uses a fragment of a fictitious bastioned system as a starting point. It involves a certain complexity both in plan and section, expanding the scope beyond the limitations of orthogonal drawing.
